about the show
Welcome to Autumn Affinity Live!
Autumn Affinity Live Model Horse Show will be held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 13th-14th 2015. (This is a Saturday and Sunday.)
We are NAMHSA APPROVED!!!
The show will be held at the West Baton Rouge Conference Centre in Port Allen (right across the Mississippi Bridge.)
As a general rule for the show hall, I ask that you please do not smoke inside the building, or bring alcohol of any kind onto the premises.
WE ARE USING THE EMCAT SYSTEM! If you have not registered for an EMCAT #, Please contact Daralyn and Brad Wallace to get your number. Her email is: [email protected]
Your tag should have your EMCAT # (i.e 713-xxx) followed by the number to assigned horse (i.e 713-001)
followed by the breed and gender (i.e Thoroughbred gelding)
PLEASE bring your own show packet to the show on both days, as I cannot afford to print packets out for everyone, unfortunately.
Please look under the "downloadable documents" page for everything that you will need for the show.
Prizes: Unfortunately, all of the entrant funds are going towards the venue, as most venues are upwards of $900 a day in Baton Rouge. Therefore, I am going to have paper flats (or donated ribbons, if anyone would like to donate!) but I will manage to get rosettes for callbacks and overall champions. I would also appreciate any donations for other prizes that can be handed out during the show! I am hoping to get the show sponsored by the Breyer Benefit Program, but no guarantees.
More updates on the show will be posted as time goes on, and we get the show NAMHSA approved.

Show Rules:
Entries:
For the Halter Division, there is a limit of four entries per class per person. Any extra horses will have to be a "buy in"
for $1. Simply place it with any extra horses that you'd like to show in the class.
For the Performance Division, there is a limit of three entries per class per person. No buy-in's are allowed in this
division.
COLLECTABILITY VS BREED JUDGING:
By entering a horse in an OF class, that horse will automatically be judged for breed. In order to be judged for collectability, you MUST provide documentation about that model. It can be on an 8.5x11 piece of paper or it could be on a notecard. A COA is not necessary to be judged for collectability. Please include the horses name, the number produced, and any other information that would be helpful for the judging process.
By entering a horse in a CM class, the horse will automatically be judged for both breed and workmanship, and no documentation is required unless you'd like to include it. However, please do NOT include the name of the artist.
General Show Rules:
Halters are not required for the Halter Division. We actually prefer if you do not use a halter in this division.
Documentation may be used but please keep your information within a 8 1/2 x 11" frame.
Please do not touch or pick up anyone else's horses that do not belong to you. If you break it, you pay for it!
Judges are not allowed to touch or pick up models that are on the table, so please make sure all of your information
is correct on your horses tags.
As we only have from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days, please listen for when a class is called. We will call for the
class twice and then close the class if no entries are brought in after the 2 minute mark for Halter Division. We
understand that you need time for Performance, so there is no rush there, but please try to be quick and efficient.
